I believe seeing these photographs as a collection will empower. If inclined, you too, can grow food. The photographs are visually interesting, capturing common garden plants in a way that almost elevates each into a work of art, and that in itself might be enough. However, because these are actual backyard (and in some cases front yard) gardens in the Denver metro area, they aren’t pristine. They could be from a backyard or roof in almost any city, any suburb. It is possible to grow tomatoes, beans, arugula, etc. in most living situations, and these photographs might be the impetus to empower you to do just that.
